Sasha Keawe
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
LCSW | Child & Adolescent Anger Management
(CAAM) Certified
Sasha Keawe is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping Hawaii's children, adolescents, and young adults build healthier minds, stronger relationships, and greater confidence. She specializes in pediatric mental health, anger management, anxiety, behavioral concerns, parenting support, stress management, and peer relationship challenges, providing care for individuals ages 5–17 as well as young adults.
Sasha earned her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, before completing her Master of Social Work at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. She also holds certification in Child and Adolescent Anger Management (CAAM).
With more than a decade of experience working with K–12 students in Hawaiʻi's public school system, Sasha has developed a deep understanding of the emotional, behavioral, and social challenges facing today's keiki. Growing up in Kona has given her a strong appreciation for the unique experiences of island life, allowing her to connect with local families in a meaningful and culturally aware way. Working alongside her father in his internal medicine practice taught Sasha that there is no greater honor than serving others. This lesson continues to shape the compassionate, patient-centered care she provides every day.
Her therapeutic approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy in a supportive, motivational, and goal-oriented environment. Drawing from her background in martial arts, Sasha incorporates coaching principles rooted in discipline, resilience, and personal growth while meeting each child and family where they are in their journey.
Sasha's mission is to guide Hawaii's youth toward greater self-compassion, mindfulness, and emotional well-being while empowering them to discover the confidence and purpose needed to thrive. She believes lasting change begins with a new perspective, and she is committed to walking alongside each patient every step of the way, from the starting line to the finish line.
Please Note: In accordance with post-employment conflict-of-interest requirements following her separation from the Hawaiʻi Department of Education, Sasha is currently unable to provide services to public school students in the Central District until January 2027. She is currently accepting new patients from private schools, homeschool programs, and public schools outside of the Central District. Parents of public school students are also welcome, provided Sasha did not previously work with their child.
