Sasha Keawe

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

LCSW | Child & Adolescent Anger Management

(CAAM) Certified

Families deserve a therapist who understands both the unique challenges facing Hawaiʻi's youth and the importance of creating a safe, supportive space to grow. Sasha Keawe is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps children, adolescents, and young adults develop the skills they need to manage emotions, build confidence, strengthen relationships, and navigate life's challenges.

She specializes in anxiety, anger management, behavioral concerns, parenting support, stress, peer relationships, and pediatric mental health. Sasha works with children ages 5–17, young adults, and families seeking compassionate, evidence-based care.

Sasha's approach is warm, collaborative, and goal-oriented. She combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and practical coping strategies tailored to each child's developmental needs. Every treatment plan is individualized, helping patients build resilience, improve communication, and gain confidence both at home and at school.

A lifelong resident of Hawaiʻi, Sasha brings years of experience supporting local youth through both the public school system and clinical practice. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, followed by her Master of Social Work from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. She is also certified in Child and Adolescent Anger Management (CAAM).

Growing up working alongside her father in his internal medicine practice, Sasha learned that there is no greater honor than serving others. That early experience shaped her passion for healthcare and inspired her lifelong commitment to helping children and families navigate life's challenges with compassion, understanding, and respect.

Sasha believes every child has unique strengths waiting to be discovered. Her mission is to help young people develop self-compassion, emotional resilience, and the confidence to thrive while partnering closely with parents throughout the therapeutic journey.

If you're looking for compassionate mental health care for your child or teen, Sasha welcomes the opportunity to support your family's goals.
