Madelyn Locquiao

Madelyn is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with more than 30 years of experience providing comprehensive care to patients and families across Hawaiʻi.

Born and raised in Kalihi, Madelyn's passion for healthcare began at an early age. Although she initially dreamed of becoming a veterinarian because of her love for animals, her fascination with biology and desire to help others ultimately led her to pursue a career in nursing. That passion has remained at the heart of her practice throughout her career.

Madelyn began her nursing education at the University of Hawaiʻi School of Nursing and later completed her advanced studies at the University of Cincinnati. She is also certified in Maternal-Child MSN care. Throughout her career, she has cared for patients in a variety of clinical settings, developing a broad foundation of knowledge while maintaining a deeply compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Madelyn believes that the best healthcare starts with listening. She values building lasting relationships with her patients, taking the time to understand their goals, educating them about their health, and partnering with them to make informed decisions. Her approach focuses on treating the whole person, empowering patients with the knowledge and support they need to achieve lasting wellness.

As a lifelong learner, Madelyn remains committed to continuing education and staying current with advances in medicine so she can provide the highest quality care to her community. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, and embracing opportunities for personal and professional growth.
