Jolene Galaviz
APRN
Exceptional healthcare begins with providers who are passionate about serving others with compassion, knowledge, and genuine care. Jolene is a Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve better health through personalized, evidence-based primary care.
From the age of six, Jolene knew she wanted to become a nurse. She began her healthcare career in 2006 after graduating from South Plains College as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, providing care in medical-surgical settings. Throughout her career, she has continued to build a strong clinical foundation, caring for patients in urgent care, intensive care, and long-term care across multiple states as a military spouse.
Jolene earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from El Paso Community College before completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Austin Peay State University. She later achieved her lifelong goal of becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner by earning her Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman's University.
As a military spouse of nearly 20 years, Jolene has had the privilege of caring for diverse patient populations while adapting to new communities throughout the country. Since making Oʻahu her home in 2021, she has embraced the opportunity to care for Hawaiʻi's families and has developed a deep appreciation for the island, its culture, and the people who call it home.
Jolene believes that the best healthcare begins with listening. She is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients, providing individualized care, and empowering them through education so they can make informed decisions about their health. Her goal is to ensure every patient feels heard, respected, and supported while working together toward lifelong wellness.
Outside of the clinic, Jolene enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and son, cheering on her son's baseball games, attending her daughter's hula performances, relaxing at the beach, and going on long runs with her German Shepherd, Coco.
Jolene considers it a privilege to care for the community she now calls home and is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care that helps every patient live a healthier, happier life.
