Great healthcare begins with providers who are committed to building trust, fostering meaningful relationships, and serving their community with compassion. Born and raised on Oʻahu's Leeward Coast, Gil is a Family Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about delivering personalized, patient-centered care to individuals and families throughout Hawaiʻi.

With more than a decade of nursing experience, Gil has cared for patients in a variety of clinical settings, including telemetry, medical-surgical, and emergency medicine. These experiences provided him with a strong clinical foundation and ultimately led him to pursue his calling as a Family Nurse Practitioner, where he is able to care for patients across all stages of life while focusing on prevention, education, and long-term wellness.

Gil completed his nurse practitioner training at Central Health, where he found an environment built on mentorship, collaboration, and a shared commitment to exceptional patient care. Inspired by the opportunity to continue learning while serving the community that shaped him, he chose to remain at Central Health, where he continues to provide compassionate, evidence-based care close to home.

Gil believes the best healthcare begins with listening. He values taking the time to understand each patient's unique concerns, empowering them through education, and partnering with them to make informed decisions about their health. His goal is for every patient to feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their healthcare journey.

Outside of the clinic, Gil enjoys spending time with his son, girlfriend, and extended family. Whether exploring Kid City, visiting the zoo, or gathering for family celebrations, these moments reinforce the importance of compassion, connection, and community—values that guide both his personal life and his approach to patient care.

For Gil, caring for the community he grew up in is more than a profession—it's a privilege. He is dedicated to helping every patient achieve better health while providing the same kindness, respect, and quality of care he would want for his own family.
